How quoting works
- Pick line items from your price book, or describe the job out loud and let the app fill them in.
- Tax is added for your province: GST, HST or GST + PST on separate lines.
- Add job photos and the address, then tap Save and text the link.
- The customer opens it on their phone and taps Approve or asks for changes. You get an alert when they open it.
- If there is no answer after 3 days, one tap sends a polite follow-up. When a job is approved, one tap asks for a Google review.

- Does it handle Canadian sales tax?
- Yes. GST, HST and PST (BC, Saskatchewan, Manitoba) show as separate lines on the quote, the customer link and the PDF. Each line can be marked no-tax.
- Does my customer need an app?
- No. They get a text or email with a link, see the quote on their phone, and tap Approve or ask for changes.
- Which trades is it for?
- Small trade businesses that quote on site: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, landscaping, painting, handyman, renovations and similar.
- How is it different from Jobber or Housecall Pro?
- Those are full job-management systems that charge per user. VoiceQuote is a quote app plus a website and Google Business Profile that we set up for you, so customers can find you and approve quotes quickly.
